Councils, NHS trusts and universities use Oracle Cloud for Finance, HR and Procurement. They face the same challenges of specific reporting and AI insight from their data. PRISM·PS is where they come together to solve it: openly, as peers, with no "vendor agenda".
Every council, NHS trust and university in PRISM·PS runs Oracle Cloud for at least one of Finance, HR and Procurement. The opportunity is getting clean, trusted, timely insight from your data, and working out how AI can enhance business processes before committing investment.
Most organisations are solving these problems alone. They each hit similar challenges getting the right data to the right people at the right time, without knowing a peer has maybe already worked through the same thing. PRISM·PS ends that. One community, one honest conversation, challenges solved in one place.
A problem shared is a problem halved. In the public sector, a problem solved is a service improved.
Beyond Systems convenes PRISM·PS because we work with public sector Finance, HR and Procurement teams across Oracle Cloud environments. We see the same challenges arising independently in different organisations, and we believe this could be improved. PRISM·PS is our answer to it. We help to facilitate, but it's the members who drive it.
Every PRISM·PS member runs Oracle Cloud for Finance, HR or Procurement. What differs is the statutory context. What is the same is the challenge of getting more from the data, and the value of talking to someone who has solved a piece of it already.
County, city and unitary authorities. Budget monitoring at scale, multiple assignment complexity, procurement compliance.
NHS provider trusts and integrated care boards. Budgeting analysis, procurement spend tracking and AI governance.
UK universities. HESA and TRAC returns, research grant accounting, multiple pension schemes, casualised workforce data quality.
Scottish Government, arm's-length bodies and other publicly funded organisations. If you serve the public from Oracle data, you belong here.
Different sectors, different statutory obligations, but the same Oracle back office and the same question: how do we get reliable insight and AI to deliver effectively?
Whether it's budget positions for 300 cost centre managers, agency spend patterns, or grant expenditure reconciliation. Getting timely insight and being able to take appropriate action is the shared challenge every PRISM·PS member faces.
AI applied to Oracle Finance, HR and Procurement data is not just about automation. It surfaces patterns that are genuinely hard to see at scale, and that drive real decisions when the data is clean enough to trust. Two things matter: data readiness, and knowing what questions are worth asking.
Here are the kinds of things members are starting to explore:
None of this requires a specialised AI product. It requires data that is structured, consistent and trusted. The questions PRISM·PS helps members answer are: Could we be doing this better? Are there some best practices we can adopt?
Councils manage procurement compliance and budget requirements. NHS trusts face CIP tracking and ESR returns. Universities have HESA, TRAC and fEC. Each has its own obligations but all depend on data being ideal for that reporting. Members who have solved these issues are among the most valuable in the community.
Members share what they have discovered is possible, what it took to get there, and whether the effort was worth it. From automated dashboard reports to configuration decisions that changed how Finance teams work, shared openly, with enough context for others to do the same.
PRISM·PS is not a conference, a platform or a product. It is a regular gathering of public sector professionals who share an Oracle data challenge and are willing to be honest about it.
Each session is shaped by the challenges members are actually facing. No pre-set curriculum, no vendor slides. The agenda is built from what the room needs to talk about.
Members share what they've tried, what worked, what didn't, and what they still can't figure out. What is said in the session stays in the session.
A solution from an NHS trust that resolved an Oracle HCM problem may be exactly what a council HCM team needs. Sector diversity is not a complication. It is the point.
The best sessions produce something concrete: an approach, a configuration decision, an honest assessment of an AI tool. Shared approaches bind the community: what one peer group works through becomes relevant to another, and the community builds knowledge that belongs to everyone in it.
Beyond Systems convenes PRISM·PS and facilitates its sessions because we work across public sector and we see the same challenges arising independently in different organisations. We contribute that experience as a participant, not as a vendor.
What that means in practice:
The credibility of PRISM·PS depends on members leading the conversation. Our job is to make the space work, keep the community connected, and bring experience honestly when it adds value.
The first 10 to 15 members shape the agenda, the format, and the direction of the community. Founding membership is free. It always will be.
Founding places are limited. We will be in touch to confirm your place and share what comes next.
Free to express interest, always free to be part of. Your details are used only to follow up and send session information.
Why this matters
beyond the back office
The Finance teams, HR leads and Procurement professionals in PRISM·PS are not just solving Oracle configuration challenges. They are freeing up time and resource that goes back into frontline services. Better budget monitoring means earlier intervention. Better workforce data means better staff planning. Better procurement insight means more value from every pound spent.
When one council solves a challenge, forty others can benefit. When one NHS trust cracks a data quality problem, the knowledge should not stay in that trust. Public sector organisations serve the public. Their knowledge should serve each other.
